The Queen Mary 2 arrived from Port Louis, Mauritius and docked in Durban harbour, Kwazulu Natal, South Africa on 23 March 2010 as its maiden call.
Durban has a subtropical climate, golden beaches and balmy seas.
From here visitors can experience the city’s Victoria street market which has a overwhelming Indian influence, or visit Shakaland in the heart of KwaZulu-Natal to discover traditional Zulu tribal life or go on a day tour to one of the game parks.
The Queen Mary 2 is the tallest, longest, largest, grandest and most expensive cruise ships ever built and offers guests a large selection of superb amenities and accommodation. It has 14 decks of sports facilities, shops, bars, lounges, 5 pools and 10 restaurants.
The Queen Mary 2 has a passenger capacity of 2,620 and allows for of a variety of passenger spaces.
