Zulu Nyala Heritage Safari Lodge was created in the 1940s around a watering-hole along the Lourenco Marques (Maputo) route to Durban.

This gracious old hotel has been restored to its former colonial grandeur when new hotel rooms, themed to highlight Zululand's own cultural development, have been added to the original building.

Zulu Nyala Heritage Safari Lodge offers a Game Reserve where game-drives, game walks, river-boat cruises and clay pigeon shooting can be arranged.

The accommodation comprises 57 twin rooms.

The hotel is ideally situated for visits to many places of historical and cultural interest, as well as game reserves and the Greater St. Lucia Wetland Park. Facilities include a live-in Zulu Village, magical boma, swimming-pool and alfresco dining area.
