On the KwaZulu Natal South Coast is the holiday town of Margate. It is bordered on the east by the well known Hibuscus Coast and on the west by rural settlements.

To be visited is the nearby Uvongo River Reserve offering the tranquillity of scenery and solitude. At the Riverbend Croc Farm are more than 200 Nile Crocodiles.
