Catering Supreme commenced business during 1999 in the Glenwood area, Durban.

Catering Supreme expanded to industrial sized kitchen premises in the Bayhead / MaydonWharf area, Durban. The company now has a staff compliment of 24 and a fleet of four delivery vehicles.

Catering Supreme is the market leader in the KwaZulu-Natal area. The company feels that they have lifted the local hospitality industries service delivery and product standard as a whole, by constantly pushing the boundaries towards first world countries’ hospitality standards. From the first interaction with a client to the time that they complete a service contract, the company strives to give each client the individual attention and service they deserve.

Services

Catering Supreme specializes in servicing corporate clients with small or larger numbers, from Monday to Friday. In recognition of the professional service provided, Catering Supreme was invited to become one of the official accredited caterers at the ABSA Stadium, Durban, KwaZulu-Natal in 2004.

Catering Supreme not only provides exceptional food but will organize hospitality services to ensure that your function is an overwhelming success such as:

• Equipment – we liaise with hiring companies of catering equipment for cutlery, crockery, glassware, marquees, tables, chairs and linen.

• Bar - a complete range of all the equipment required to run your bar is provided.

• Décor - we subcontract out theme décor, flowers and draping.

• Media - Sliced Cheese Designs are an independent design house who can assist with printed and digital media, photography and video production.

• Staff - Teams of staff are available to set up a venue, act as waitrons, run the bar or just clean up.

Health and Safety

Catering Supreme adheres to all government legislation concerning health and safety and bring about a holistic, green business approach, i.e. recycling and utilizing more natural products in food production.

Skills

Apart from the permanent staff compliment, the company provides casual employment on a regular basis as the need arises. A training programme has also been embarked on to increase the staff’s skill levels and in doing so, also increasing their earning power.

Catering Supreme utilizes East Coast Radio as their main source of marketing; listen out for us on the radio. Iced Blue Marketing, an independent marketing company together with Sliced Cheese Designs, their brand custodians, market the company’s products and services to their targeted potential clientele. Catering Supreme also supports smaller advertising companies as well utilizes advertising through its vehicle branding, the Yellow Pages, Talking Yellow Pages and their internet website (www.cateringsupreme.co.za)
